If you want willing subjects for your street photography there is no better place to go than a special event such as the Military Day at Brooklands Museum. Today I took a Leica M-P with a 35mm Summicron and a Fuji X-T1 and 56mm f/1.2 for an outing to this outstanding home of vintage motor cars, motorcycles and aircraft. Not only did I meet Winston Churchill but I was able to persuade a couple of US sailors to do a Times Square re-enactment.

Very nice set Mike
I haven’t yet had the chance to put my 56 through its paces but it looks superb. And what a fantastic event.

John
Thanks, John. It was a superb event and I have made a note to go again next year. I never cease to be amazed at the things people do in their spare time. That 56 is a really great lens, it gives me Noctilike vibes and I discovered that 85mm is not difficult to manage even at relatively close quarters. Definitely a keeper and I plan to do a review now I have a stack of good results.
