Our resident Fuji expert and former Leica fan, Bill Palmer, is organising a London photowalk for friends and photography fans next Sunday morning, April 3. We have room for half a dozen Macfilos readers if you would like to join us.

The idea is to grab a camera (I expect to see more than a few Fujis and Leicas but all makes are welcome) and join the stroll along the South Bank, passing such wonders as the Mayor of London’s pod, HMS Belfast, the Tate Modern and the Festival Hall. Along the way there will be plenty of bridges, from Tower, to London, Southwark, Millennium, Blackfriars, Hungerford and Waterloo. More bridges, in fact, than you could shake a lens at. We will also be stopping for the occasional sustenance, liquid and solid, not to mention a good chat which is probably a major motivation.

If you would like to join us please send an email to mike@macfilos.com and I will add you to Bill’s list. We will reply with details of where and when to meet. It’s a good opportunity to meet London-based Macfilos readers and, indeed, it will be our first joint outing. I’m looking forward to meeting new friends. Numbers are limited but we will fit you in if we can.
