The Leica Q in silver chrome anodised finish has now been officially announced and will retail in the UK for £3,770, including 20% tax. In addition to the silver top and bottom plates, the lens, hood and cover are also in silver.
It appears that the new version will be a limited edition, on the same lines as last-year’s now-discontinued titanium-finish Q and will be produced until the Spring or next year.
I am a great fan of the Q and enjoyed my nine-months with the camera enormously. We tested it in this article and followed up with this nine-month update.
The new camera can now be pro- ordered from from all Leica dealers, including Red Dot Cameras in London.

It is pretty and if I were in he market for another Q I would go for this. It’s a good camera and I’m glad you are pleased with it.
