The most popular camera reviews on Macfilos have been the Leica Q test in 2015 and the long-term assessment of the same camera in 2016. Readership levels show the deserved popularity of Leica’s surprise entry into the full-frame compact market.

the same picture is said to be taken with the 50mm Summicron APO !
Huh!
I came upon you site as I just picked up a late model MATE and was researching opinions etc.
Nice sit in any event!

Hi Rafael. You are quite right and it’s my mistake which I’ve now rectified thanks to your eagle eyes. It was in fact taken with the MATE and I can’t think how I managed to get the caption in the review article wrong. I had only the MATE with me on that particular day in Oxford, so there’s no doubt about it. Thanks for pointing it out and welcome to Macfilos. I hope we can count on you as a regular reader.

Very useful for a latecomer like me! Thanks, Mike.
Fantastic all in one article!
