Last month we reported that the M7, which is the most advanced film camera made by Leica, had been discontinued following information gleaned from dealers. We have now had confirmation that the M7 has indeed been discontinued, along with some further models.
The M7 Entry Set and the M7 a la carte service have also been withdrawn. In addition, the Leica M-P (Typ 240) in both chrome and black paint have been delisted. The there starter sets based on the Typ 262 are still available “while stocks last”. Two of these sets come with either a 35mm f/2 Summarit or a 50mm f/2.4 Summarit while the third includes the 35mm and 75mm Summarits.
