As a mid-naughties convert to Mac, I know next to nothing about earlier Apple computers. I remember trying a friend’s shocking pink iMac around 2002 and hated it. For some odd reason I thought the mouse was upside down. It probably was. Now, with my shiny new credentials, I am susceptible to a bit of Mac lore. I loved this piece on 512 Pixels (the new name of Stephen M. Hackett’s hitherto excellent Forkbombr site) and I am a little wiser.
