Apple starts to crack the enterprise market

In 2007 Apple had hardly any representation in the corporate market. Now, according to this report from Asymco, the tables are turned. This year there is a possibility that Apple could take a 30% share of the lucrative enterprise market. A word of caution from Horace Dediu, though: Apple’s recent success has been built on its excellence in the consumer market. This, in turn, has created a bottom up demand for Apple products. It would be a mistake, he believes, for Apple to pander too much to the IT professionals.
