After twenty years of Microsoft, including ten of those years struggling with Outlook and its single, impenetrable and vulnerable data file, I was glad to run out of the door in 2007. That was when I bought my first Mac and discovered easier and better ways of managing my contacts, diary and tasks.
As for Word and Excel, I have never missed Word but I still like Excel. Â All in all, though, I was glad to see the back of Microsoft Office and I cannot imagine why there is all the fuss about its rumoured porting to the iPad. What is the point in it, pray?
