Hmmm…guess which is the Leica photograph. Both taken at the same time on my first day out with the iPhone 5. These JPEGs are straight from the camera with no post production other than cropping to approximately similar angles of view. The Leica JPEG is taken from a RAW file, so lots of adjustment possible. The location is one of my regular landscape test spots. The iPhone 5 camera has a focal length of 33mm (35mm equivelent) compared with the 35mm Summicron mounted on the M9.
Ho hum….Leica on the bottom. But the iPhone picture isn’t half bad and, indeed, some might prefer it. Apologies to both devices from the man behind the shutter.
