Classic Cases introduce lower-cost machine-stitched alternative

1

Up to now the British-made Classic cases for Leica have all been hand stitched, including the model for the Leica Q which I reviewed a few weeks ago. Paul Glendale, who makes his tailored cases in Bovey Tracey in Devon, has now introduced a new range of cases which are identical except in the method of stitching. Instead of doing it by hand, Paul has managed to reduce costs considerably by adopting machine stitching. He has versions specially made for the CCD-sensor models, including the M8, M9, ME and first-generation Monochrom at a remarkably low price of £65. See full details here.
