Since we moved over to the new site the mailing list registration form has been updated to comply with GDPR — which means that when you register the system will send an automatic request for you to confirm your willingness to be added to the list.
Following a number of complaints, it seems that in many instances these confirmation emails are being sent to spam folders. I am not sure why this should be so, but I am investigating.
If you have registered within the past three weeks and have not received the Monday-to-Friday daily email, please check your spam box. If you the auto response is there please move it back to your inbox and click on the confirm link. That should get things working.
I would also recommend any mail list recipients to add the Macfilos Administrator email address to your contacts, thus ensuring that communications are recognised and not sent to spam.
Also, please bear in mind that if you wish top stop receiving emails at any time, simply tick the unsubscribe box on any Macfilos email. Please do not mark it as spam since this can lead to problems for all subscribers.
Thanks for your cooperation on this. If you have other problems in registering please let me know at mike@macfilos.com and I will investigate.
