AT&T debunks Palm Pre

PALM have been getting loads of coverage for their imminent Pre iPhone beater. I've read many of the stories and reviews of pilot units, but I did not realise some of the limitations of the Pre–in particular that it does not work on GSM networks and will not work outside the USA. As far as I can remember, this hasn't been mentioned in the publicity so far. This morning Engadget published an alleged leaked document from AT&T which compares the Pre (unfavourably of course) with the iPhone. It's a compelling list and has removed much of the interest in the Pre as far as I am concerned. It looks as though they have a long way to go to match Apple on this front, even if they eventually bring out an international version.
