inessential.com: The Pummeling Pages

Brent Simmons has a brush with an ad-filled, Facebook-linking, lethargic web site and hates what he sees. The sort of place where good words are buried under so much dross that you can’t wait to get away. Sadly, it is the common experience with most web sites these days. RSS feeds and Instapaper or, even, Safari Reader, are the better way to go if you want a clutter-free, restful environment for reading. I try to keep MacFilos simple for this reason. And, look guys, no ads, no sponsorships, no testing freebies. Just pure biased opinion from yours truly and the gang.
